The coin depicts the Roman Goddess of Healing Salus, who was the Roman goddess of health, healing, well-being, and prosperity. Later, she also became the protector of personal health.

This 14k gold replica is accented with 18k gold balls and bail. Cast from an original, which I own. 18" 14k gold, long and short chain.

The original coin was minted in Rome in 177AD. Marcus Aurelius is on the reverse.
