18k Gold Italian Florin
The Italian Florin coin dates from the early 1300's and is the currency creditied with funding the Renaissance. The name comes from the flower of the Giglio Bottonato, which is represented on the head of the coin. A traditional fleur-de-lis. The reverse shows St. John the Baptist. This coin is an 18k gold cast replica of an original I own.
